The commercial nuclear industry demands that suppliers meet both strict customer and code specifications. Lehigh Heavy Forge uses the 10,000 ton press to produce shells and heads for pressurizers and steam generators as well as other accessory components such as support blocks and nozzles. All items are forged, heat treated, and finished machined in accordance with a quality system compliant with the ASME Code Section III NCA 3800 and RCC-M specifications, and qualified by an ASME certificate holder.
